Working with this record
Select the template that fits the intended process and use Initialize Workflow to prepare an instance. Review the resulting instance’s content, nodes, and assignments before starting it. Changes to a reusable process definition should follow your organization’s process ownership rules.
Example
Document Approval is a Workflow Template used when a manual needs review. The team initializes Manual Approval from it and then checks that the intended manual and reviewers are included in the resulting Workflow.
Choosing the right type
Choose Workflow Template for the reusable process definition. Choose Workflow for the instance prepared for a specific job. Initializing an instance and starting its execution are separate actions.
