In Nora IPLM, notifications keep you informed and up to date with the activities and changes that matter most. Whether it’s updates to objects, task deadlines, or system alerts, our notification system ensures you’re always in the loop. Here’s an overview of how notifications work and how you can manage them to stay on top of your projects and tasks.
Types of Notifications:
- Object Modifications: Get notified when objects are modified, updated, assigned, or completed.
- Task/Project Status: Receive alerts about changes in object status, deadlines, or comments.
- Sharing Alerts: Be notified when objects are shared with you.
- System Alerts: Stay informed about system events, such as maintenance or new feature releases.
- Reminders: Get notifications for upcoming deadlines or activities that need your attention.
Notification Channels:
- In-App Notifications: Receive alerts directly within the Nora IPLM platform, typically in the notification center or via the bell icon in the header.
- Email Notifications: Choose to receive updates via email for certain activities, based on your settings.
Viewing Notifications:
Notifications can be viewed by clicking the notification bell or icon in the platform’s header.
You can easily see recent notifications and click on them to be directed to the relevant item or task. Notifications can be filtered by type, such as:
- Alerts
- Warnings
- Errors
- Acknowledgements
- Exceptions
Managing Notifications:
- Mark notifications as read or delete/ignore them from the notification center.
- Fine-tune your notification preferences through your user profile or settings menu to control what you are notified about.
- You can customize notifications for subscribed objects, team actions, lifecycle completions, and more.
Muting or Disabling Notifications:
If you prefer fewer alerts, mute or turn off notifications for specific events.
Additionally, you can temporarily disable notifications when you need to focus.
Accessing and Configuring Notifications:
To adjust your notification settings, navigate to your profile or user settings menu. Look for the “Notifications” option to configure your preferences.
