Complete guide for change management in Nora IPLM

Introduction

Every product goes through iterations, feedback cycles, and necessary adjustments. In Part 1 of this guide, we focus on the starting point of any controlled change: creating a change request and defining what needs attention.

Changes happen. Requirements shift, suppliers update parts, and designs evolve after review. Nora IPLM makes managing those changes clear and controlled.

Capture proposed changes, route them for approval, and link every change to affected items like BOMs, CAD files, and documents so nothing falls through the cracks. Built-in change workflows, versioning, and traceability give engineers and managers the context they need to assess impact, estimate cost, and approve with confidence.

Whether you are initiating an engineering change, running impact analysis, or closing out approvals, Nora IPLM keeps the process transparent and aligned with your product goals.
