The Relationship Manager is a core component in widgets that manage structures. It gives you control over which relationships are displayed in the user interface, making it easier to focus on the data that matters most.
Where It’s Available
The Relationship Manager is available in the following widgets:
- Structure
- Comparison
- Navigator
- Timeline
How It Works
- Filtering Relationships: The Relationship Manager allows you to filter in or out your preferred relationships from the view.
- Two Relationship Types:
- Structure relationships – Always preselected by default.
- Non-structure relationships – Can be included or excluded manually.
Dynamic Relationship Visibility
- Relationships displayed in the Relationship Manager depend on the active object types in the widget.
- Example: If you open an item in the Structure Widget that has a document attachment, selecting the attachment relationship will display the document in the structure. From then on, relationships related to the document type also become available in the Relationship Manager.
Reverse Structure Mode
When using Reverse Structure Mode in the Structure Widget:
- Relationships are shown based on the “from” direction of the available types.
- This lets you analyze parent-to-child connections from the opposite perspective.
