How to Change Your Dashboard in Nora IPLM
Purpose
The dashboard is your central hub in Nora IPLM. Changing your dashboard allows you to customize the view of widgets, layouts, and key information for your workflow.
When to Use
- You want to focus on specific projects, tasks, or data.
- You need to adjust your workspace to match your role or current priorities.
- You want to organize widgets and information panes efficiently.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open Your Dashboard
- From the main menu, click on the Dashboard icon in the top navigation bar.
- Your current dashboard view will open.
- Manage Tabs: Each dashboard supports up to 100 tabs. You can add, rename, delete, or reorder tabs freely using the tab controls at the top of the dashboard.
- Select a Different Dashboard
- Click the Dashboard Name dropdown in the top-left corner.
- A list of available dashboards will appear.
- Click the dashboard you want to switch to.
- The new dashboard loads automatically, including all its tabs.
- Customize Your Dashboard
- Add, remove, or resize widgets using the + Add Widget button or the left panel.
- Move widgets by dragging and dropping them to the desired position.
- Resize widgets using the corner handles to fit the view you prefer.
- Tabs can also be customized by adding widgets specific to each tab.
- Saving Your Changes
- Your changes are saved automatically without any action required.
Tips & Notes
- You can create multiple dashboards for different purposes (e.g., project tracking, task management, product analysis).
- Lock and Unlock: You can lock and unlock any dashboard you own, as well as each tab and widget individually, to prevent accidental changes. Please check the dedicated article to learn more about lock and unlock feature.
- Each dashboard supports up to 100 tabs, which you can add, rename, delete, or reorder freely to organize your workflows.
Troubleshooting
- Dashboard doesn’t load: Refresh the page and try again. If the problem persists, check your workspace access.
