The following prerequisites are required for successful PTC Creo Parametric –Nora IPLM integration and should be updated during the installation of PTC Creo Parametric.
- While PTC Creo Parametric installation, at this step of installation, please select all API toolkits included during the Creo installation.
- After successful completion of the installation. Locate the below PTC Creo Parametric installation folder and run the “vb_api_register.bat” as an administrator. (Creo XX.X.X.X denotes the version of application)
C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo XX.X.X.X\Parametric\bin\vb_api_register.bat
- Under File->Option in the PTC Creo Parametric application, under “Global->Data Exchange” options, inside “Export Profiles”, select “3MF” and click on “Select Export Profiles” as shown below.
- Select all the options as shown and click on save profile.
- Save the profile to your local desktop or any other location.
- Click File->Option in the PTC Creo Parametric application and click on “Configuration Editor” and under “export_profiles_3mf” option, click on browse and select the file we saved in the previous step and click on ok to save the “Config.pro” settings.
- Make sure the above settings are selected for better thumbnail image quality in the platform.
