Purpose
The Recent Objects Panel in Nora IPLM widgets helps users quickly return to the last 10 objects they interacted with in a specific widget. This feature saves time by giving fast access to frequently used or recently viewed objects, even when a widget is empty.
When to Use
- The widget has no active data, and you want to reopen a previously used object.
- You need a shortcut to the last 10 objects worked on in a widget.
- You want to return to a familiar object without performing a new search.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Viewing the Recent Objects Panel
- Open any widget in Nora IPLM.
- If the widget is empty, the Recent Objects Panel automatically appears.
- The panel displays the last 10 objects you interacted with in that widget.
Opening Objects from the Panel
- Click on any object in the list.
- The selected object opens directly in the widget.
Reopening the Panel When Data is Active
- If the widget already has data, the panel is hidden.
- To reopen it, click the Home Button in the top-right corner of the widget.
- The Recent Objects Panel will reappear, showing the same last 10 objects list.
Tips & Notes
- Each widget maintains its own recent objects list. The objects shown are specific to that widget type.
- The list updates automatically as you interact with new objects.
- The Recent Objects Panel is especially useful for jumping between related tasks without repeated searches.
Troubleshooting
- No recent objects displayed: You may not have interacted with any objects in this widget yet.
- Object not opening: Check your permissions for that object.
- List not updating: Refresh the widget and confirm recent actions were performed inside it.
