Purpose
In Nora IPLM, users can view and download files attached to items, documents, or drawings directly from the Relations Pane. This allows quick access to relevant files without leaving the platform.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select the Object
- Navigate to the object whose files you want to access.
- Click to select it in any widget, such as Table, Structure, or Details.
2. Open the Relations Pane
- Open the Relations Pane from the bottom edge of the widget.
- Ensure the pane displays the selected object’s related tabs.
3. Go to the File Tab
- Click the File Tab within the Relations Pane.
- All files attached to the selected object will be listed in a table format.
4. Download the Files
- Select one or more files you want to download.
- Click the Download command from the command bar, or use the right-click menu.
- The selected files will be downloaded to your computer immediately.
Tips & Notes
- Only files connected to the currently selected object will appear in the File Tab.
- Multiple files can be downloaded at once by selecting them together.
- Use the search or filters in the File Tab to quickly locate specific files.
