In Nora IPLM, the Clear command allows you to remove object(s) from the current widget view without deleting them. This is useful for managing what is currently displayed in your view without affecting the underlying data.
Where to Find the “Clear” Command
You can access the Clear command from the following locations:
- Right-click menu of all objects in a widget
- Command bar in all widgets
This feature is available across all widget types.
How to Clear an Object from a Widget
1. Access the Clear Command:
- For widgets with multiple selection:
Select the object(s) you want to clear, then either right-click and choose Clear or use the Clear command in the command bar.
- For single-object display widgets:
No need to select—just click the Clear command from the command bar directly.
2. Confirm the Result:
The object(s) will be removed from the widget view.
Note: This does not delete the object(s) from the system.
