The Complete Task command is used to mark task-type objects as finished, moving them to the completed state and helping you track progress efficiently.
Where to Find the “Complete Task” Command
You can access the Complete Task command from the following locations:
- Right-click menu of all task-type objects
- Command bar in all widgets (Visible only when a task is selected in multi-selection widgets, Visible when a task is displayed in single-object display widgets)
- All Lists (For task-type objects only)
- Search Pane (For task-type objects only)
This feature works across all widgets, lists, and search contexts.
How to Complete a Task
1. Access the Command
You can do any of the following:
Right-click on a task (in any widget, list, or search pane) and find the Complete Task command in the Task Commands section or,
Select one or more tasks in a multi-selection widget and click Complete Task from the command bar
Click Complete Task from the command bar of a widget showing a single task
2. Confirm Completion
The task(s) will instantly move to the Completed state.
