In Nora IPLM, you can manage the behavior and rules applied to objects by changing their lifecycle type. This defines the set of states and transitions available for the object throughout its lifecycle.
Where to Reach the “Change Lifecycle” Command
You can access this command:
- From the right-click menu of all objects
- All widgets’ command bar (Shown only if there is a selected object in the multiple selection widgets)
- All Lists
- Search Pane
It works on all widgets, lists, and searches in different contexts.
How to Use
- Select the Object(s):
Click to select one or more objects from any list, widget, or search pane. - Select “Change Lifecycle”:
Use either the right-click menu or the widget’s command bar to choose the Change Lifecycle command. - Choose Lifecycle:
In the pop-up window that opens, select a new lifecycle from the dropdown list. - Confirm:
Click OK to apply the change.
A success notification in the bottom-left corner will confirm that the lifecycle has been successfully changed.
